Ferno Aviation's Universal Head Immobilizer is simple to use, lightweight and easy to clean. Two plastic-coated, closed cell foam head supports and a unique head strap conform to the patient's forehead while large ear holes provide easy monirtoring of the patient's ear canal. A universal attachment base plate fits all Ferno wooden, aluminum and plastic backboards. Provides minimal interference with X-Ray, MRI, or CT scanning procedures and the plastic coating will not absorb blood or fluids and is easily cleaned. Meets FMVSS 302 flammability rating.
